I do what I do because I want to help women just like you to feel confident. In your body. In your mind. In yourself.
I have always been a ‘strong woman’, both emotionally and physically. I served in the British Army for 18 years and my body had always been my friend. She had carried me over some pretty tough physical challenges and I was proud that I could match the exertions of my male colleagues. Following the birth of my daughter in 2011, I developed chronic Stress urinary Incontinence. After many physiotherapist appointments and remedial training sessions, was referred for surgery for the TVT operation (Tension-Free vaginal Tape where a permanent mesh sling is inserted under the urethra to support the bladder).
I had a very stressful role at the time; my husband was routinely deployed away and – well, I felt like a failure. I was 37, exhausted, less than effective at work, had no control of my body and, along with some deep seated personal issues which raised their heads around the same time, I became emotionally ‘wobbly’.
‘Wobbly’ became an issue that began to affect my relationship with my husband and daughter so, after some significant soul searching, I sought emotional help to support me and decided to research the alternative methods to help with my pelvic floor issues. After watching the ‘solution’ to my pelvic floor issues via Google and You-Tube, I was sure that there had to be an alternative – but easily accessible, honest and effective advice was difficult to find.
So – something you need to know about me at this point….
I am a ‘do-er’ – a ‘Vanilla Ice’ kinda girl (“If there was a problem, Yo, I’ll solve it…”) and I believe in better – I question and I research – I volunteer, I organise and I do. I always have and sometimes wish i could just ‘be’ more often but ‘do’ seems to be more my mantra!
During my research, I discovered and participated a programme that improved my urinary incontinence symptoms to the extent that I no longer needed surgery. I was so happy to be told that – the surgery, for me, would have been extremely traumatic and would have had significant implications for my little family so to be told that was a very good moment!!!
This programme restored my confidence and led me to Jenny Burrell; the founder of Burrell Education and the Holistic Core Restore Programme.
I was considering my options for resettlement at this time and I was looking at personal training and life/confidence coaching. I had wanted to be a Physical Training Instructor when I had first joined the Army but had chosen to commission instead so never had the opportunity. And I knew that I wanted to work with women; just women, to help them to regain their emotional and physical confidence, having been through a journey that had had more ups and downs than the French Alps!!
And so my next chapter began – Women’s Exercise Coaching…!

It is my passion to help you to find your very best version of yourself through a holistic approach. I will never tell you what you must do or to tyre lift or to ‘diet’….if you want those things then I will happily steer you towards those groups… I want you to feel empowered and strong; sexy and powerful and that goes deeper than cutting a few calories and doing ‘strongwoman’ exercise…
You deserve to feel confident from the inside out and I will help you to identify what is holding you back and give you the knowledge and tools so you can feel deeply fabulous.
I love what I do and I will invest my all into helping you through my time, energy, continuing female-specific education and enthusiasm. In return, I like to work with proactive and committed people who want to see personal improvement in their health, wellbeing & confidence.
